Adult students of violin, cello, and piano
Group Size:
2–3 students per ensemble
Participation Fee:

(Choose one movement from the following works):
• Beethoven: Piano Trio WoO 39; Fragmentary Piano Trio, Hess-Verz. 48
• Haydn: Piano Trio Hob. XV:C1
• Kuhlau: Piano Trio Op. 119

Eligibility:
Students from the 3rd grade of elementary school to adult, violin / cello / piano
Recommended Repertoire
(Choose one movement from the following works):
• Seitz: Trio for Children No.1, Op. 42
• Burgmüller: 25 Études – “Tarantella,” “Ballade” (Forest Music arrangement)
✳︎ Students selecting advanced-level free repertoire will be assigned to this group.
Performance Format:
Ensemble performance with two instructors
Participation Fee:
¥24,000

• If you have other repertoire preferences, please feel free to contact us.
• Please consult with your regular instructor first regarding repertoire and level.
• Sheet music will be provided by Forest Music.
• After the application deadline, ensembles will be formed and two 60-minute coaching sessions will be scheduled according to members’ availability.
• If an instructor is included as a performing member, that instructor will generally lead the coaching sessions.
• Students are expected to prepare their individual parts during their regular private lessons.
• A final rehearsal will be held shortly before the recital.
